INTER X Therapy is a pain relief treatment, using specialist equipment to apply safe electrical pulses to the tissues in order to stimulate the area of pain or inflammation.

Electrical pulses are controlled to be comfortable for the patient, and applied when the patient is relaxed and lying down on a medical couch. Treatment is safe for both adults and children (note: children must be accompanied by an adult).

Treatment is offered for the following conditions:

Sports Injuries (Acute and Chronic):
Achilles tendon injuries, ankle sprains, golf and tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle and ligament strains, pain (knee, hip, neck and lower back). Specifically sports injuries react well to Inter X treatment and significantly reduces reconvalescence.

Pain relief for arthritis of the joints:
Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis.

Workplace related Injuries:
Repetitive strain injury (RSI), ‘frozen’ shoulder and sciatica.

Post-operative Rehabilitation:
Support after joint re-surfacing and replacement.
